Many of our patients have already experienced the convenience of CEREC one-visit dentistry at our South Surrey – White Rock dental office. CEREC is a type of CAD/CAM system (computer-aided design and manufacturing) that allows our dentists to take digital impressions and then make custom-designed porcelain restorations (like crowns and other white fillings) on-site, usually in one appointment and with no temporaries. It can also be used for some more complicated situations like implants and certain types of temporary and permanent bridges.
Dr. Duprat and Dr. Hird spent this past weekend at the Spear Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona; it is the largest hands-on CEREC training facility in the world, and where Dr. Regan is also a mentor. Such courses keep our dentists current in this ever-developing field, learning the latest developments and updates that expand their skills to deliver the highest level of patient care and convenience.
