Dr. Rogers studied at the University of Toronto, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In 1983, he moved to Vancouver to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at Vancouver General Hospital and the BC Cancer Agency and then practised in Burnaby and Victoria before he joined White Rock Dental in 2005.
Dr. Rogers has a record of public and professional service. In 1991-92, he moved to Papua New Guinea to serve as the Chief Dental Officer of the Morobe Province. He worked in the main hospital located in Lae, the biggest city in the province, providing dental services. He also supervised a group of dental therapists and worked with smaller dental clinics in other Morobe communities. He is a member of the Vancouver and District Dental Society, British Columbia’s oldest and largest dental society, where he served as President in 2014-15.
